• What is Piraeus Bit by Bit?

Piraeus Bit by Bit is new service which allows Piraeus bank credit card users to  pay in equal monthly installments expenses made by purchasing goods and services with their credit cards in country, abroad or online.

• Who can use Piraeus Bit by Bit?

This service is available to all Piraeus bank credit card users (VISA Classic/Gold, MasterCard Standard/Gold and DinaCard credit) for purchase of goods and services on POS terminals or online.

• How to activate this service?

Installments are activated by simply calling one of the call center telephones (free number 0800 000 800, or numbers + 381 11 3024 077, +381 11 3024 078) and following the identification of clients and transactions. It is necessary to have your transactions slip mentioned. After activation transaction is divided into equal installment depending on the transaction amount. Number of installment is fixed and can not be changed.

• How to activate?

After you activate the service by calling the Call Center, the transaction is divided into equal installments. At the first intersection, the first installment is shown in the statement. Remaining debt stays on the "waiting" and remaining amount is appearing on the monthly statement until the final installment of transaction.

• Is it necessary to pay the entire monthly installment?

No. The client can settle only 3% + interest amount of total debt, which represents the minimal monthly installment.

• Is the outstanding balance of the installment available for future spending?

No. Available limit on the card is reduced by the full amount of the transaction. As the installments get repaid, the available amount will increase.

• On how many installments transaction can be divided?

The transactions can be divided from 2 to 12 monthly installments, according to client's needs.

• Is there a deadline for the division of the transaction in installments?

Yes. If the client wishes to activate this service he must make a transaction report to the Call center by 1^st in the month for Visa Classic and MasterCard Standard cards, and 5^th in the months for Visa and Master Gold cards and 15^th in the month for Dina Revolving card.

• Is Piraeus Bit by Bit service valid for ATM transactions?

No. This service is valid for purchasing of goods and services on POS and online only.

• Do you pay interest on the entire amount of debt?

There is a fee of 5% per month, calculated on the entire transactions amount, which is added to each rate. Interest is paid only for the installment of the current month, if the client fails to settle the entire debt amount.
